Store Status Update: March 22

General Manager, Garland McQueen, update:

The concrete has been poured inside the store in preparation for the walls to be in place and large equipment to arrive.  In addition, the crew is working simultaneously on our neighbor businesses so that we can all open at the same time.  We will truly have a grand opening!

We have applied for a SNAP permit as we want to have programs in place to help our neighbors who need financial assistance.

As we will have local wines and beer, we have applied for an alcohol license and that process is going well.

With regard to staffing, we had a successful Job Fair last week and met many good candidates. We still need the following: deli staff, PT and FT, Food Service Manager, Produce Manager, basic bookkeeper, and clerks for stocking groceries.
