Spring Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up! April 14
Feel good about some community service around town…Join us for our bi-annual road clean-up.
WHEN: Sunday, April 14 at 2 – 4 pm
WHERE: Meet at the gravel parking area next to the Bridge End gas station on Route 287/Berlin Turnpike at the Potomac River Bridge.
WEAR: Sturdy, comfortable work shoes or boots; gloves and consider a hat for sun/bug protection.
The Co-op will provide bags, vests, some gloves, and a limited number of grabbers.
Our route starts at the parking area and continues to Purcell Road. Due to safety concerns, participants must be 16 years or older. VDOT signs indicating a road clean-up will be posted.
To date, the Co-op has collected 321 bags of litter and recyclables along our sponsored stretch.

ANOTHER SAMPLING SATURDAY-March 23!
Saturday, March 23 from 12 – 3pm…Stop by and sample two wines from Lovettsville producer, Quartzwood. They step outside a narrow conception of what “typical” or “serious” wine should be and, instead, explore delicious, innovative, and sustainable ferments meant to be shared and enjoyed.
